Ahm … instead of an other piece of code I thought maybe you’d also appreciate a nice bouncing track from the Dutch hiphop combo The Opposites. I was at their concert some months ago and after browsing their videos on Youtube I stumbled on this one last night.

I grant, even if my mother tongue is quite close to the Dutch language it’s hard to get at least some of the lyrics. It contains some 4 letter words, some cursing here and there but on one side it’s hard to top Die Antwoord from an older post and it’s hiphop. It has to get a little rougher.

After 260 posts, 265 days, 12 months, whatever, Megapanzer turned 1 year today. Thanks for your regular visits, your messages and the chats on facebook your feedback, inputs, sources … It was an exciting first year and I hope the next one will be even better. There are still many tools and sources on my todo list but my agenda looks much better for this year. I will definitely find more time for research, coding and publishing. School kept me busy the last year. I think you understand …

Holidays are over …

So I am back again after one week away from the keyboard. I was not completely off-line but I reduced the efforts to a minimum. Recreation and preparation work for the exams had the main priority.

What I am going to release next is some kind of a digital bug. It’s a small piece of software you can install permanently on a remote computer and start and stop the microphone recording and listen what the person on the other side of the connection is telling. It was considered once as a bug for room surveillance but was never used that way. So there’s no reason why to keep it any longer in the archive. The release date is not fixed yet but I think it will happen before the approaching begin spring.

The code will be published toghether with a GUI app to customize it and do realistic tests.

BTW … I just stumbled upon this one. Enjoy.

From time to time the documents I’ve stumbled uppon in the Internet or people recommended me and I’ve considered as interesting were put on the server and announced afterwards in the blog. Things that seem interesting to me may also be of your interest. The same thing with the software from other places. On the External sources page I announce regularly tools and sources from other places which are of general interest.

If you know of security related tools or you’ve coded an application that fits just perfect to the core topic of this site and you want to publish it including the source code or you’ve found or written a document people have to know about don’t hesitate to send me a mail and tell me about your idea. Depending on the quality and the type of document/source it will be published the following days, with name of the author/submitter and backlinks to the authors page.

World wide fame and honour will be your reward :)

Find here some pictures from the Swiss Big Brother Award. This event took place last weekend (24. october) in Zürich. Me and two other groups were nominated in the category “creditable behaviour”. We were the only nominees who wanted to receive the award personally. unfortunately Swisscom, Berufsbildungsschule Winterthur, the ÜPF and Deltavista were unable to attend the award.
