Source : How to capture pictures from the webcam

Below, you can find a link to the source code with the function(s) to take a picture from the webcam that is connected to the computer. There are several ways to do that, I chose the “Video for Windows” way.

    This is the first time I read your site. Snapshot of the camera sounds nice. I will try it. Even though your files are of type “cpp”, you code looks like that of a C programmer.

    Yes, you are right. It’s C code, not C++. But just ignore the file extension for the moment. When publishing the big chunk of code that contains all megapanzer files everything will be clean and well structured as expected.
    Give me a little time and i’ll make sure it doesn’t get worse.
